Broadway Is Coming To Carteret County!
Call for Christine & Raoul, on September 24 and 25, 2010. Call for Christine and Raoul is open to students and residents of Carteret County ages 14 to 21 as of September 24, 2010. Each contestant will enter two songs on a CD. Six finalists, three male and three female, will be chosen by New York judges from the CD entries. All contestants will attend a master class with Mr. D’Ambrosio on September 24th, where the six finalists will be announced. Two winners will be chosen from the finalists by Mr. D’Ambrosio and a panel of local judges at the end of the master class. |
D’Ambrosio, affectionately known as “The Iron Man of the Mask” because of his extraordinary run as the Phantom, is passionately involved in teaching his craft to young artists. His resume highlights numerous awards, nominations and outstanding roles such as Anthony Corleone in the movie Godfather III -- where his performance of “Speak Softly Love” so impressed the late Luciano Pavarotti, it led to an invitation for D’Ambrosio to study with the legendary tenor at his home in Italy. Carteret Arts Forum is committed to assisting and encouraging all potential contestants, and teachers are available at each public high school for assistance, by appointment. Complete guidelines and registration forms are available at Carteret County Public Libraries, county high schools, and may be downloaded from the CAF website. |
